Looking Down the Gully

This picture makes the gully look steep. But what you can't see is that it's straight down from the edge on every side for over 20' before you reach a ledge inside the gully.

I'm afraid my adrenaline level was still too high when I took this picture to let me get any closer to the edge, taken 12sep06.
