Looking down | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Looking down at one of the few roads crossing the Tian Shan. The pass is at about 4000m. I'm on top of a small peak close to the pass. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | sweetnsourbkr | wow! | |
Voted 10/10 | Those switchbacks remind me of some of the ones in Europe on Le Tour. | | Posted Dec 19, 2006 8:00 pm |

Hasn't voted | This particular climb would be a real challenge for all the Tour cyclists. It's one of the longer in the world. Start at 800m and the pass is at 4050m. Some very steep sections, which even Pantani (hail and RIP) would've liked. | | Posted Dec 21, 2006 12:35 pm |

Hasn't voted | It's a great ride. The changes from where you start are extraordinary. Desert - sandy hills - a long canyon - green meadows - pine forest - alpine area with glaciers. | | Posted Nov 15, 2008 10:14 am |
