Great shot !I was thinking about trying a route on this peak at some point ... when was this pic taken ?

June 2006I took this pic on a trailhead to trailhead one day ascent of the Grand via the Direct Exum. There was still quite a bit of snow on the Upper Exum but the bottom was dry save one verglased section before the typical roping up point. We soloed that part and I was terrified!
