Looking north at Ptarmigan...
Looking north at Ptarmigan Peak across the 7,760+ ft saddle between it and Dot Mountain. This saddle area was exquisitely beautiful to me, as it reminded me very much of the Scottish Highlands. Maybe I caught the light just right when I was there. Who can say? Photo taken August 23, 2001.
