no snow?Is this normal for December 31st? Or has this area gone months without measurable precipitation as well as Phoenix?

Re: no snow?No, this is abnormal..very much so. Pray for rain or snow. Prepare for a fire season unprecedented, though on Baldy, it won't matter much for her tall green forests have been mostly removed.

Red SlurryYour right on the red slurry. It looks like you can still see the red slurry from the spray on Mt. Ian in the distance. After hours of reading about the Florida Fire, I am very glad I had the chance to climb this peak when I did. I only wished that I had climbed Mount Hopkins as well.
