Looking north toward the South Peak of Doubletop past some blasted forest. The trail continues to the left and finishes quite steeply up the west side (left)of Doubletop. When I was a kid I recall walking through a large park like spruce grove, the next year the loggers reduced the grove to "the land of many uses" much as the wind did here.
