Great photo! This demonstrates the wonderful contrast between the Black Rock and the peak. Which route did you take?

Thanks.

We took the trail on the west side. We never made it to the summit. I now live in New Hampshire. My climbing buddy e-mailed me the article on King Lear from the Reno paper. Was that you that was interviewed? I told my friend I hope I get back there to try to summit one day. A great place.

Ah --- so did you start at Buckbrush Springs or take McGill Canyon? Yeah, I was the quotee, thanks to Mark (the reporter). He just went up there, in fact, and took the east approach. Here is the article from last week: King Lear in the News

I love it up in the Black Rock (away from the RVs and touristy areas, anyhow).
