Looking south at Jackass Pass...
Looking south at Jackass Pass from the summit of Pingora. The valley wall to the right (west) is the east wall of Warbonnet and the wall to the left (east) is the western slopes of Mitchell Peak. The approach into the Cirque generally follows the shadow line from right to left. Great camping spots can be found in the sprinkling of trees at the bottom of the photo.(9/02) Photo by Gary Haas.
