Love this picture ...

Yep! That's the reservoir where the locals
like to fish for trout.

In some of the years (back in the early 1980's), the snow on the Sheeprocks lasted
well into the month of July.

Yep, those were the good 'ol days ...

I'm glad you are familiar with the area Larry. Did you ever hike around Sabie Mtn?
Today my wife and I went out the Pony Express road towards Simpson Springs but went to Round Top and Davis Mountain for some hiking fun. What a great area....Thank you.

Re: Love this picture ...

You're more than welcome !

In my "pre-SP" days (or daze), I was always
told by my parents to STAY on trails.

I always wanted to go up to Black Crook Pk,
(by HOOK or CROOK), but in summer I was too
busy fishing, and in the autumn I was afraid
to go because of all the deer hunters.

God only knows what I was doing the rest of
the time. Have a great one, Dean !!

Yeah, Black Crook Peak is a great one. I'd also like to see the world from the top of Red Pine mtn.
