Looking up at the start of...
Looking up at the start of the Jamapa Glacier Route from Piedra Grande. Route goes up the central gully and then heads right around the obvious cliffs in the center up to about 15,000 feet before heading back left between ridges to the glacier. Orange hut in lower left is no longer usable for shelter as its roof is missing. (Note: It is also possible to take one of the snow gullies that angle off to the right up to 15,000 feet.)
