Apparently no more parking at the Cow Canyon Saddle. It's heavily signed as a "No Parking" "Fire Lane" area. The gate to private property has also changed from the last time I saw it a couple years ago. It's now a larger, taller, black gate with a screen over it so it takes more effort to walk around it. Property owners might be getting a bit less tolerant of hikers...

Yes, not only is there a massive new gate, but signs warn, "NO TRESPASSING, PRIVATE PROPERTY, 24-HOUR SURVEILLANCE."
