Lou Whittaker jumping a crevasse during photo seminar I took with Ira Spring in Aug 1969. Kodachrome ASA 25, transferred to digital. Ira was sponsoring a special Photography seminar that year and this is one of about 200 pics I took. Ira and I were standing on a solid snow bridge about 10-15 feet down in the crevasse. Hey, Ira said it was safe. Ira's picture of this can be found on page 96 of his book "An Ice axe, A Camera, and A Jar of Peanut Butter" (published by the Mountaineers)
