Winter '08  Sucess!

January '08 - I'm never really sure I've hit this peak until I'm over it and looking back at it from UWJ.

Lower Wolf  Sucess!

Solo trip. The ascent from the Wolf Jaw col is a very steep 1/2 mile....at least that's what I remember.

Winter summit  Sucess!

Took deer brook trail, to white trail...breaking the whole way. So it took a lot longer than expected to travel the 4.5 miles. Still made it though, pretty decent views.

In 70s; Once in winter  Sucess!

Most memorable time was in the height of black fly season; I waited for other members of party for 2 hours, nearly went crazy. They came back to find me running through the woods, wearing a poncho wrapped tight around my body.

Rt. 73 (Deer Brook) -> Hedgehog -> L. Wolfjaw -> Wolf Jaw Lean-to  Sucess!

Hiked in solo with full pack at 4:30am while it was still dark. Sun was up before I made it to Hedgehog. I had meant to take the more direct route that avoids the long trip past Snow, Rooster Comb, and over Hedgehog, but I made a wrong turn and caused myself a lot more work and lost time. High Peak #9.

Did this from Rooster Comb trailhead as part of a Great Range attempt but unfortunately our SteriPEN busted and we had to abandon the plan.

Lower Wolf Jaw Mountain  Sucess!

Climbed with Upper Wolf Jaw via Range Trail from the Ausable Club. Decent views of the Great Range and a cooling breeze were the rewards after this hike on a hot late-August day.

What's in a name?  Sucess!

I climbed this with my father over Thanksgiving in 1996 (give or take a year). The only thing I remember about this peak is its name.

Slide Skiing

My first time out in the BC. It was a fun experience and i learned a lot about BC Skiing. Bennies slide is defiantly worth the effort to ski. Didn't get up very far due to avi. danger but a great day out non the less.

Sawteeth, Gothics, Armstrong, & Upper Wolfjaw  Sucess!

The last of 5 peaks in a day. Tiring, but a sense of accomplishment. Wet, muddy, slick but nice hiking. 11/46
