Ski route from Realp
Ski route from Realp (through Witenwasseren valley, NE-face, and Eastridge). A bit windy, but nevertheless a great outing with a beautiful (powder) descent. One of the best descents in the Realp region.
Route Climbed: Normal Route Date Climbed: april 2013
Climbed the Piz Lucendro on skis from the Rotondohütte through the couloir to the saddle N of the summit. Then through the NE Face to the summit. Great views up there. Difficult descent in the upper part of the couloir due to frozen remnants of wet snow avalanches.

From the Lake of Lucendro, close to the gotthard pass.
Nice and easy walk, but be carefull for the last 300 meters.
The small Lucendro glacers is disappeared after the hot summer 2006. Just few icy-plaque are left and with fresh new snow on a bit slippery.
Anyway easy and nice, wonderfull panorama

Beautiful weather, little snow. Very well-marked trail with cairns every 5 meters or so from passo Lucendro. The glacier is almost non-existent; no need for a rope or crampons at the moment.
