Lady Lake-Madera Peak-Jackass Lakes Loop from Norris TH  Sucess!

Scenic loop from Norris TH, to Lady Lake, up the bowl below the east face to the summit ridge, then returning along the ridge and past the Jackass Lakes to the Norris Trail. Fine views all around from the summit on a hot day.

Jackass lakes trail up Norris lake trail back  Sucess!

Backpacked to upper Jackass Lake from then to the peak with Jason. Took longer than expected walking on the loose rocks and we ended up night hiking back to camp. So beautiful up there! Hiked out the next day on the Norris Lake trail.

Lillian Lake Loop Trail to Lady Lake via Norris TH   Sucess!

Hiked up to Lady Lake and the east face of the peak with the dogs from the Norris TH. Scrambled up the talus and snow in the bowl to the summit. Awesome views of the Ritter range!
Returned for a snowy hike Veterans Day weekend, but turned back before summitting.
Revisited partially frozen Lady Lake late fall 2011, but turned back before summitting due to low clouds and falling snow and drizzle.

Route Climbed: East Face  Sucess!

Climbed East face out of Norris Creek, followed ridge to Sing Peak and descended down shoulder between the two to Chittenden Lake. Got a real late start but it looks like Gale Peak could be easily added. If this day doesn't make you want to climb Mt. Ritter I don't know what will.

Route Climbed: East Face (ascent) / North Ridge (descent) Date Climbed: Sep 30, 2005  Sucess!

The east face looked steep from a distance, but turned out to be almost all class 2 right up to the summit. Traversed over to Sing Peak, returning via Shirley Lake. Warmup hike for Foerster Peak the next day... gorgeous weather, not a cloud in the sky.

Route Climbed: East Side Date Climbed: August 16, 2002  Sucess!

Backpacking trip with G. Paul. We went up the east side from Lady Lake. We veered left from the face and followed a slippery scree chute up to the summit ridge. The chute can be easily avoided by veering even further to the left and obtaining the ridge
