We used this route for descending.

From the parking lot near Malga Venegia follow the forest road eastward (direction Malga Venegiota). Pass Malga Venegiota and at an elevation 0f roughly 1900m (Campigol della Vezzana, 1.5 km behind Malga Venegiota) you'll reach a trail crossing. Here turn eastward again to steeply climb in direction of Passo Mulaz. You'll cross scree fields at first but later you'll reach a rocky ridge which you have to follow. To your right (north) a beautiful view opens to the Mulaz western climbing crag, a vertical wall some 300m high.

Once above that wall the slopes revert to talus, turning north-westward, more or less directly towards Passo Mulaz. Cross the pass and shortly afterwards turn left onto the summit trail. It heads north-west at first, negotiating a shoulder. Turn north-east here to gain the summit bell.

    Essential Gear

    Hiking gear is sufficient.
