Malheur COHP
The highpoint of Malheur County Oregon is seen here from US 95. Don't see it? It is just to the left of the gap that is left of center in this pic. No dramatic peak to be seen but it is there and visible if you know where to look.

Update: Recently, SP member noted that the actual highpoint is at the right of this pic. "The summit is actually the absolute rightmost point in this picture. I think what you identified as the summit is actually a lower southern ridge instead of the east oriented summit ridge. I walked the length of these ridges on my way up!

I agree, that kind of sky lends itself to nice photos. Thanks Radek, Oregon is a great state.
