Hike this one several times in the spring to warm up the legs for summer climbing. Do it early in the spring before the rattlesnakes are out down by the river. It's fun, and works the quads near the top. Great Views.

Cold Boy Scout Hike
Boy Scout Hike up to the Observatory for an overnight campout! Brrr!!!
Came up here many times while going to CWU. Back then, we called this hike "The Book" - not sure why.

Nice Hike with good weather
Went with three friends and three dogs. Walked to observatory and had interesting conversations. Weather was nice and dry with views into the Stewart Range. A little snow but mostly mud.
