Talking of this kind of scene, it'd be more informative to provide the coordinates of the spot you shot from rather than of what you shot, wouldn't it?

Well it's always a question. I have to confess that I'm not that consequent in this matter - one time the spot I shot from, another time the approximate place of the view...

That's always a question when shooting a particular peak/small group of peaks, but here it'll be far easier for me to identify the summits in the picture if know where exactly you stood.

I agree with Yatsek, because I wonder, if sentimental Hnitessa summit is part of this shot.

All right guys, there you are. Not very exact, but I was scaling Pietros from Borsa and somewhere near to (but below) Iezer lake. The summit in the center of the pic, in clouds, is Toroiaga, the town below is Borsa.

Many thanks. According to my experience in MM and my two maps it is possible to recognize these summits:
Cearcanu (right-hand corner) - Piciorul Caprei (right from cloudy Toroiaga) and Pietrosul Bardaului (left-hand corner with typical cone-like shape)

Pip Ivan Marmaroskyi farthest left, or the Chornohora?

The farthest left massif is probably Pip Ivan Marmaroskyi and the next one (to the right from Pip Ivan) is Mihailecu massif. Chornohora is not visible, because it is hidden behind dominant Petrosz Budyjowsky massif.
As I said, very precious shot and we have to thank once more for capturing this huge area of hardly accessible wilderness...

Sorry for that. Well, basically all you need is a photo editing software which has a feature that allows you to place customizable text on the opened image, and then you can save the result as a new file. Such a free program is for example GIMP
