| bechtt | On the way to SJ ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 8, 2012 | |
| Diverted from a hike to SJ from Humber Park. Couldn't talk anyone but Erin into going with me and she balked at the summit block. We hit Drury on the way back to the trail and met my wife Caren, Jon, and Amy on the summit. | ||

| The day started out nice...by the time we got to the summit we were surrounded by thick clouds and snow, then it got dark. We could barely see 12" even with headlamps. Pretty fun. | ||

| Down-climbing the chimney was an adventure. With Cornell, Miller, San J, Folly, Drury, and Jean. Cross-country traverse back to the trail was a disaster. I led myself through steep slopes of manzanita and picked up a couple attractive lacerations. Route-finding fail. | ||

| cab | 7 Peak Loop ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 4, 2011 | |
| Loop from the tram including Cornell, Miller, SJ, Folly, Drury, Jean & Marion. The summit block was fun and had a little snow leftover in the final chimney up to the top. | ||

| Alex Wood | Great Summit ![]() Date Climbed: Jan 19, 2009 | |
| Was going to hike the 6 peaks. That didn't happened cause my friend injured his dislocated shoulder again. He stayed below and I climbed the last 1000 or so feet solo. Lots of snow and great views. The summit block made things interesting...it was after I had climbed it when I realized that my camera was in my pack below. | ||

| NavySeabee | San Jacinto to Marion Traverse ![]() Date Climbed: May 18, 2008 | |
| Easy traverse made more challenging by unpredictable snow conditions (see Jean log). South slopes and saddles were mostly snow-free and an easy jaunt along with the descent to Wellman's Cienega since it was early in the growing season. The summit crack was a fun climb except for the ice/snow covering the lower footholds. Fun trip. | ||

| Augie Medina | Nice Climbing to Summit ![]() Date Climbed: Nov 24, 2007 | |
| Came over from Jean. Getting to the very top was a little bit exciting because the winds were fierce today. Seventh peak of a loop hike that included Cornell, Miller, San Jacinto, Folly, Drury, and Jean. | ||

| Did it as part of a six-peak weekend with Folly, San Jacinto, Miller, Jean, and Newton Drurry. Its a ways out their from the main trail, but worth it. Exceptional view of Suicide Rock area. | ||

| Dave Daly | Pre-Sierra Challenge Shakedown ![]() Date Climbed: May 20, 2007 | |
| Great place!! I enjoyed the cross country jaunt from Wellman's Divide and up the wooded drainage...absolutely gorgeous. Thankfully, I found the ducks fairly quickly and didn't end up in a "mazanita mangle" like Deb (teehee). Also doing a circuit of Marion, Peak 10,386, Jean and San Jacinto, then back to Humber Park. Finished this circuit in 7 hours 15 minutes. Installed NEW summit register as well. It needs a new note pad to complete it.....for now it has 4 sheets of paper :P | ||

| Deb | From Wellman's Divide Trail ![]() Date Climbed: Apr 21, 2007 | |
| Postcard perfect scenery this morning with fresh snow on the ground and in the trees; maybe I should have been paying attention to the trail! I took the tributary slog between Jean and Marion from just before Wellman's Divide; walking on TOP of manzanita for nearly 2 hours was NOT fun. Thank goodness for the map and compass to get me off of Marion in quicker fashion. Awesome views from Marion summit block even with the forboding clouds coming from the south. There was a bit of whining going on as I downclimbed the summit block with all the snow and ice....good thing no one was around to hear it. :/ | ||
