No, I wasn't feeling quite manly enough that day (+ it was my first time boarding that season!)- I went down the milder slopes on the W face (rumor has it some guy bit it last year after falling while descending that couloir, & he was probably a better boarder than I anyway!)- fun descent anyway!

A guy died last year trying to ski the couloir late in the season (icy). He landed head first in a moat.
