Voted 10/10	Great picture of grandeus mountain... :) The North Ridge (rather buttress or pillar) is slightly to right side of the photo. It was the goal of the 2003 expedition of Steve House and Marko Prezelj (mentioned in article on the Masherbrum). So one can imagine from this attempt how strong climbers are they are (and how big country in Great Ranges climbing a little Slovenia is :) ). Gorgeous picture. Congratulations to Afzal !

The ominous towering face and its forbidding light could put dread into even the most talented. But to see this white diamond summit thrusting into the stratosphere, sends all the dread away and replaces it with desire. What a point to stand at and be master of yourself. Surely summit fever.

It must have been a magical moment, but you were able to take full advantage of it, and that's uncommon. The summit looks like the tip of an iceberg -shining over a huge dark body full of beauty and menace.
