Maunapulu'o

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Maunapulu\'o
Maunapulu'o, a typical "inaccessible" Kauaian peak in Ka'ena State Park near Kee Beach. Abundant rainfall ensures thick jungle cover over even the steepest slopes. The underlying earth is usually muddy and difficult to gain traction in, and the combination provides some of the most challenging cross-country travel to be found in the US. Apr 20, 2006
