One Tree Hill  Sucess!

The views of Auckland were great. I enjoyed all of the sheep as well.

Wooly  Sucess!

Headed here via Mt. Hobson which is also worth a visit and a lot quieter besides. Weather not great but a nice walk up via the sheep rather than the road through some picturesque scenery. Will have to head back on a nicer day. As the location is somewhat south of Mt. Eden the views you get are quite different, more of the west and south than the downtown area so both are worth the journey.

GREEN  Sucess!

As green as it gets up here. Beautiful views of Auckland. This was my last walking adventure while on our trip. I look forward to a return visit.

City Tour  Sucess!

Such a wonderful country to explore both in the city and outskirts. People are so very friendly there.

Nice stroll down (up?) the park to the obelisk. Indeed a good way to kill some time in Auckland. The park has very cool trees.

Pleasant way to kill a few hours in Auckland, for free.

Not high, and there's not much walking on the hill, but all of New Zealand is beautiful.

Route Climbed: Road from Onehunga Bay Date Climbed: October 5, 2004  Sucess!

A very nice way to cap two intense, wild weeks in New Zealand. Some history, some geology, a great view and a way to stretch our legs before a 12 hour plane flight. Very windy and full of sheep.
