Windy day with snow increasing on descent. Part of a two-fer with Red Mountain.
With Zeus for peak #2/5 of the day. Went on to do Sorrell, Weldon, and Piute View before breaking for the day.
Got to the top just after sunrise which made for great views. Even in August, it was surprisingly chilly at the top making for perfect hiking weather.
Dayhike from the south, then later climbed on 2/25 with Bob and Matthew (5 days later).
An easy hike, taking all of a few hours, a good way to fill up some extra time after climbing Pilot Knob. Trip Report
