| We were trying to find Warbonnet, which has a distinctive profile. As we did a somewhat scary ropeless ascent, we thought this spire looked a little weird, but must be the perspective? We discovered that Warbonnet is plainly visible (and identifiable) from the summit of Mayan Temple. Doh! | |

| What an adventure- up the heinous Goat Creek drainage (no trail) and up onto the Mayan Temple. A tough Class 4 move almost stopped me- jump from a ledge into a chimney, then slight overhang move on loose blocks. Summit was spectacular- 2 rappels to get off and back via the trail. 23+ mile day, but I saw parts of the Sawtooths I've been wanting to see. | |
