| Fun day out with sPlattski. About 50% was boot style, the other half was snow shoing. The ridge was deceptively long, but not steep. Terrific views of the area with the first snows on the faces. | |

| Beautiful, sunny day with SawtoothSean. Tricky snowshoeing- the fresh powder on old crust allowed our snowshoes to slide on steep terrain. We initially stayed on the south side of the creek, which was very brushy. Descended the north side with better results. | |
