Nice easy mountain, clouds made the views of the Cabinets very good. Trail length was a little exaggerated, glad there weren't a whole lot of trees on the mountain compared to most peaks in the Salish Range. Hiked with Rebelgrizz and JFK.
Short, easy hike to the highest summit in the Salish Mountains. Wished we had taken the off-trail route to the summit. Also wished we could've gotten inside the lookout. Good views of the Cabinets, Purcells, and the Whitefish Range. Summitted with The Levitator and a semi-bored Kitty.
"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."
