Man, These natural sharp giant forms called a very good feeling forth in me! What kind of experience that climb could be!
I am envious! :)

Thanks Den, the Bugaboo Provincial Park is in BC Canada. McTech Arete is a great route. That 2nd pitch is one of the most unique I have ever been on. Cheers.

The more you climb, the more you were hear of it....we all just call it the "Bugs"....some of the best alpine rock in the world.

My rock-climber skill... huh
Recently I am not skilled enough even to speak about such "towers" :) Besides, I like icy snowy freezing alpine summits much more.
However I often enjoy the sight of these hard routes. Fearful!

Take care, Master! :)

Trust me Den, if you like alpine environs, the Bugs will be one of your favorite places in the whole world with plenty of easy to moderate objectives. Cheers.

With my old Boreal Ballets, we got kicked off by a thunderstorm...

Bail! Bail! Bail!

hit the glacier just as the skies cleared...

Paddle Flake is even better if you get another chance luc, they are side by side....I have only climbed Crescent in suspect weather...I suppose that is the standard! as we wait for sunny days in the Bugs for the larger objectives.

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
