Medano Creek is a seasonal creek that never reaches the ocean. Its waters provide much of the moisture that stabilizes the dunes. On October 29 the recent snows combined with temperatures in the 50s-60s to make the creek grow before my eyes. This is the second photograph in a series. Please view in conjunction with
