Near High Camp on the north slopes of Adams. For some scale, the edge of the snowfield down to the water is about 15' (5m). August 2006

This snowfield

being 15 feet, may qualify as a glacier.

It looks like it could be a glacier up close, but you can see in a photo I just posted here: http://www.summitpost.org/view_object.php?object_id=455688&confirm_post=7 that it's just a seasonal snowfield that melts away completely by September.
