Voted 10/10 | It makes dizzy just looking at it. I would probably be on my belly crawling to the tip.
Great shot though. | | Posted Aug 28, 2008 8:03 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thanks! The clouds helped since I couldn't really tell how far down it was. I think doing the belly crawl would have made a good photo too. | | Posted Aug 29, 2008 4:55 am |

| BCJ | I love this photo | |
Voted 10/10 | Every time I've seen it as a thumbnail attached to your profile my first thought is that it's the head of a pronghorn...I'm not sure why, but that always pops in my head. Such a great photo of a neat spot. | | Posted Oct 19, 2008 11:03 pm |
 | | mountaingazelle | Re: I love this photo | |
Hasn't voted | Thanks! The thumbnail does look like I could be a pronghorn ... or perhaps a gazelle :) | | Posted Sep 18, 2009 2:20 pm |

| lcarreau | Aura of mystery ... | |
Voted 10/10 | What makes your photo (IMHO) special is the
"awesome aura of mystery" it projects to the
viewer.
For example, look at this photo.
It's not as well-captured as yours, but it's
a "STEP" in the right direction. :) | | Posted Jan 6, 2009 10:06 pm |

Hasn't voted | Aura of mystery... Yes, that's me :) This was a neat mountain. Another one that comes to mind is the summit of Half Dome which is photographed a lot. | | Posted Jan 7, 2009 2:27 am |

Voted 10/10 | Yes indeed. And, it matches your "Helen Keller"
quote. Personal question - did you feel any
sense of fear while sitting on the edge like
that? What exactly was going through your mind?
End of questions - hope you're doing okay &
thanks, Melinda. | | Posted Mar 16, 2009 12:52 am |

Hasn't voted | Good question. I didn’t really notice how airy this rock was until I saw the photo. I'm probably a little more cautious about these things now. I’m doing much better and am hiking and climbing mountains. | | Posted Mar 17, 2009 9:20 pm |
