Bear and South Boulder
Used this route to get to the top of Bear and South Boulder. Shadow Canyon's steepness was intense. It reminded me a lot of the Mount Olympus trail near Salt Lake City, Utah.

Good Hike
Climbed with my wife back in 08'. A fun hike with a great view of Boulder from the top.

First summit register
Took 8 hours but I did it. It took a long time to get down.

Fun Trail Run
pksander and I did a nice trail run up Shadow Canyon, across Bear Peak, down Fern Canyon and back to the South Mesa TH. Time to the top of the saddle was 1:13 and to the summit 1:25. We plan to use this often as preparation for the Pike's Peak Marathon. Very nice hike, recommeded.
