Short but beautiful route to an extinct volcanoe
Drove Mesquite Canyon Road about 6 miles to the rain collector and hiked about 3.5 miles roundtrip to the summit and back. From the trailhead about 1,300 feet of elevation gain. Gorgeous views from the top.
