Did anybody ever attempt to climb Illumination Rock? Looks scary ..

In 1887, the Mazamas hauled fireworks up to
Illumination Saddle, and when ignited the
fireworks could be seen from Portland.

Sorry, guess I shouldn't give you any ideas!
