Southwest Couloir
Stayed over night in the meadows, and went up the Southwest Couloir first thing in the morning. Had plenty of snow the whole way up the couloir. Excellent views from the top!
One of the first of many Tetons. Climbed with several of the old gang from TLS( The Liquor Store) from the days before Albertson's and TLS moved to present location at Buffalo Way:)
Started around 6 a.m. and made the summit at 1:30. I could hear elk bugles all around me in the morning and I saw some grouse, coyote, and deer along the trail. I'd consider this a pretty challenging day hike for most people. Great view of the grand from the top.

Tetons; they come in pairs!
Impromptu climb of the North Ridge. JHMG Philip, gave us this choice as a practice climb to prepare for the Grand. Not typically an option, but I'm glad our guide knew competent climbers when he saw them.
Second time I climbed this peak, the first being in 2008.

Climbed up and down the SW coulior. Nice route, especially if you stay on the sides of the coulior and avoid the loose rock.

Middle Teton via Southwest Couloir
Slept in The Meadows. Long rocky slog to the saddle from there, but following the southwest couloir from the saddle is extremely straightforward.

Sweet Fall Climb (SW Couloir)
Excellent fall climb of the Middle Teton. Snow was still present at multiple points from the Meadows up to the saddle above Iceflow Lake.
The weather was absolutely perfect, calm even on top. A group of parachuters flew by less than 100 feet from the summit block while we were on top.
We also crossed paths with a bear on the switchbacks before entering Garnet Canyon. There is still disagreement in the group whether it was a black or grizzly bear.
