Midway

This is the final "bump" in the ridge, taken from the top on the way down. As one can see from the picture, it is quite a drop onto a rapidly descending ridge. The sharp drop in the ridge three quarters of the way down is the main gendarme. The gap just before it is the top of the exit chute down the north side of the ridge to the traverse. The chute dropping left is the start of the rockfall chute that was seen in action earlier.
