Enjoyable day hike
Had a lot of fun, despite feeling the effects of some virus or another. The main gully had quite of bit of loose rock; I had better luck contouring around to the NE near the top. Amazing views on top!

This summit caught my eye while climbing Sawtooth Peak in October 2009. One year later I came back for this one, and it did not disappoint. The small summit seems to hover above the Monarch lakes.

The rock is surprisingly good on Mineral peak. Great little scramble.

Camped at Crystal Lake. View of Empire Mountain from the summit was impressive. Also climbed peaks 11600 and 12109.
