| A very steep 5.7. It was hard to believe looking up at the north face from near Lonesome Lake that there was a 5.7 route on this side, but it turned out to be as advertised. Route-finding was problematic, but overall a good fun climb. | |

| Scramble up west slopes. If west slopes is used for descent, make sure to mark the couloir that was ascended before you navigate the flat top to the summit. | |

| We hiked to the Cirque in the morning and decided to attempt Mitchell along our route back to our campsite. Rather than lose elevation and hit the standard path, we went up...and up...and up, along the rocks and grass facing the Cirque. Not sure if this route actually saved our legs or killed them. Finally reached the last pitch and raced up the last 200 ft or so. Coming down, we again chose a "shortcut" to our campsite...followed by the 6 mile hike back to Big Sandy trailhead. Long day, and lots of battle scars and blisters. Well worth it for the views!! | |

| Climbed the North Face, Left (III, 5.7), with Levi, Matt J., Glenn and Matt L. This was our second day in the Cirque. After Pingora's S. Buttress, this route was a lot more adventurous, complete with loose rock, mud-filled cracks, moss and confusing routefinding. The last pitch chimney nearly ate us alive. We didn't continue to the true summit a LONG ways away, but managed to get down to Jackass Pass a few minutes before a massive thunderstorm rolled in. | |

| I'm pretty sure this is the peak I hiked up with two friends from High School. We camped at the base of the Cirque and then Hiked up. I remember the stunning views of the Cirque from the summit. | |

| Climbed this peak with my wife. We were vaguely aware of distant thunder but paid it scant attention until, coming around an exposed section, my wife's long hair went shooting up above her head in a flow of static energy. I reached my arm out over the edge and I swear I could hear my arm hairs crackling. We hunkered down and sat on our packs for half an hour before proceeding to the summit. (Lightning never did go off near us.) | |

| Climbed with my father and the Wasatch Mountain Club. Summitters from the Club were my father, Steve Neggler, and myself. There was lots of snow and MOSQUITOES, but still a nice climb. | |
