| As someone else said, a little too much on the "ferrata" side. We avoided as much of the "aid" climbing as we could. Still it was a great hike and we thoroughly enjoyed it for what it was. | |

| Nice weather and a fine route, but a bit too much cable and ladders for my taste. Added the klettersteig to Westliche Karwendelspitze as a bonus. More challenge here. Only a few others on the route this day. Nice and cold Coke at the Brunnstein Hut. | |

| Ascended from the train station of Mittenwald via Karwendelsteig to the beginning of Mittenwalder Höhenweg. Perfect views all along the way with not too many people jamming the constrictions. Descended the Pürzelsgrat down to Scharnitz taking the train back to Munich :) Beautiful trip which I'll do again some time... | |

| An awfully hot day which spends a "nice" tan ;o) Despite the crowds and the queueing at the ladders it was great day out. Mountain hiking at its best. And the Brunnstein Hut is located EXACTLY on the right spot!! | |

| Pretty good conditions for that early time of the year. We failed shortly before Brunnsteinspitze on an steep snow field without any belays. Too much rotten snow in the afternoon. | |

| Climbed several times, in 2003, 2004, 2005. Its an easy trip in summer, a fantastic tour in winter with a great view. Visit the west Karwendelspitze and the Tiroler Hut when you are there. | |
