It is very thin at the point of getting onto it and with spring coming about it was at the point of bieng very careful. There was a time I came back two wees later to lead it and it was more trickier to lead then becuase it was thinner.
It just depends on how hard the mixed climb is. I have spent most of my climbing on ice and in the past five years got into mixed climbing leashless. It is worth trying. It is a type of climbing you are going to really like or hate. Sometimes tools are a advantage. I like to think so anyways. I hope you try it .Good luck with your climbing.
