Great scenery on the ascent route. Even more impressing: the views on the somewhat precarious descent on the rotten snow of the north side (with occasional rockfall). Very beautiful mountain, good rock quality.

Even after several times on top of this splendid mountain it's always again a special ascent. Particularly the lunar scenery is gorgeous.

In a sunny a warm day of the end of October (was it summer ?). Few people on the summit and a wonderful view to the surrounding mountains and to the Adriatic sea.
