Monte Verena
Monte Verena, 2015 m, is a mountain which occupies a central position on the Sette Comuni plateau. It rises between Asiago and Lavarone plateau. In World War I the mountain was strongly fortified, still today you can see on its top remains of a huge fortress and many other remains. Today the summit can be reached by a mountain road, marked path and in winter by a cable car. Ski slopes are on the southern side, this is the view from the north. July 6th, 2013.
