| Pretty easy hike, lots of wildflowers on a hot early summer day. Went on to do Canyon Mountain after this one. Kind of neat to see the small section of diorite at Fields Peak surrounded by the mudstones of the surrounding hills. | |

| Hiked up after Fields, then over to Moon.......then over to McClellan. Nice day, great views from all of the peaks. | |

| Did this peak with Shirley, my Mom, and my little brother as part of a long ridge hike (Fields/Moon/Moore Peaks). The three peaks traverse is nice since it only takes about 1.5 miles to get out of the trees and then it's all ridge walking with great views. | |

| Did this one on the hike over from Fields Peak on my way to Moon Mountain. Kept thinking I was at the summit as I was hiking up in clouds but I kept seeing a higher point to the east so I just kept going over 3 bumps until I got to the highest one. Descended the east side and then hit Moon Mountain. On the hike back from Moon, I went off trail around the south side through mostly uneven scrubbrush. | |
