Moraine camp carain

This is at the entrance to the Pisco moraine camp. I assume it's a memorial to someone that died at the camp. Anyone know any details about it? I tried googling the information on the plaque but it came up empty. The text of the plaque reads "A Joan Freixenet I Tresanchez Centre Excursionista Lleida Julio 1 87"

He was my brother

The name on the plaque is my brother who died the 21th august 1981 during the return to the base camp. He was only 20 years ago. It was a tragedy and a very sad affair. I like mountain too, but all the members of my family were definitively affected for the rest of our lives.
He was , the best.
