| Visited Moro rock during a family camping trip. Hiked the stairs with my 19 month old in a baby carrier backpack. Made me realize I have not climbed in about 9 months. Gotta get back out soon. | |

| pennies on the patio route is a necessity!!!! my favorite climb to date. most of the bolted sports routes on the east face are also worth climbing. south faces are for this spring, and the multi day pitches of west face are waiting for me this summer.... DO NOT pass this up. | |

| Mary and I climbed this on Labor Day Weekend 2009. I finally had a day off after 12 straight days in the hospital, so we drove out and camped at Dorst CG and then did this awesome route the next day. The approach was annoying to say the least, but we found the start of the route without too much difficulty. The climbing was excellent; nearly every pitch had interesting moves and there was a good variety of climbing types. The descent down the stairs was sweet, but delayed by the usual barrage of questions and photo taking by the tourists. | |
