| Carl and I hiked this canyon two days after we climbed Mt Whitney. We hiked in single digit temperatures on Whitney and a day later we were shorts and t-shirts hiding from the sun in this beautiful canyon. | |

| Fun canyon. There was a route that climbs to the left of the dryfall where most people turn around. We found more diffcult dryfalls later. They could be bypassed by hiking higher above the canyon. | |

| Gorgeous canyon and a treasure-chest for aspiring geologists. Hiked up to the main amphitheater and further beyond the boulders blocking the way. We also climbed a fun 25 foot wall (dried waterfall?) which then opened up into another wide bowl. There was a seemingly impassable headwall several hundred feet high at the end of that bowl. Overall, highly recommended. | |

| Being my 1st time in the park, the canyon was the best thing I did during my short visit. Took a few spur trails leading above the canyon floor and into smaller side canyons. | |

| My wife and I hiked through here on our way to a cold and snowy night up in the Panamints. There was nice afternoon light here, and the smooth marble was very pretty to study. | |
