| On the way back from Copper Butte we hiked up Moses, 1 hr 10 going up but we decided to pick up beer cans on the way down, took us 1 1/2 hours, picking up lots of cans! | ||

| I was working the night shift for the summer, and since my sleep cycles were not working very well for day hiking, I drove over to the Okanogan to do a couple of nighttime drive ups. I reached the summit of Moses just after midnight. The road was interesting in the dark but in some ways the headlight shadows help identify the worst bumps. | ||

| Hiked this during my lookout bagging days after walking the road. Don't know that I could have gotten my Accord up the mtn anyway but the road was blocked by workers laying buried cable along the road to the facilities on top. | ||

| The fire lookout is taller than any I have ever seen in-person. Several friends told me the summit road was in horrible condition, unfit for a regular car. However, my commuter car could have made it to the summit. I parked halfway up the summit road only because it was during pre-dawn darkness and I grew concerned about possibly hitting an unsuspecting pothole, rock, or rut (based on those earlier reports). The road was not bad. Perhaps it has been recently and partially improved by the BIA? It was great seeing the sunrise from the summit. Good views. | ||
