Good first page but some this page needs just a little bit of help.

1st. In the overview section, descripe more about the mountain and what makes it unique, is it popular? Take out the description of your climb in this section.

2nd. In the getting there section.."these mountains"... we dont know what you mean by that, is it a specific group or range?

3rd. In the when to climb section. This should be seperated from the main page with a "route page" this section is just meant for you to inform us when it is negotiable to climb, not how to.

4th. In the mountain conditions sections. make sure and descripe the conditions in more than just the winter season, it is most likely people will be ascending in summer as well.

Just two more things. I would attach at least some photos to the main page to give it some interest and delete the miscallaenous section at the bottom.

I think you have the right idea for SP and good luck!

No need to delete the misc info section. I leave it on mine on the off-chance that other people want to submit miscellany. Trivia is a good example of this. Otherwise, you've hit the nail on the head. Good start, but needs a bit of work.

I'll echo what Sean said. Good start, especially on a first SP page.

Additionally, some things to include: if you put in the lat/long coordinates in decimal degrees, you'll get a link to a topozone map. Remember that west longitudes should be negative to work correctly.

You should definitely add a signature photo to the page and maybe some other photos (available from the edit page link).

You should include it in whatever mountain grouping it belongs in (presumably Tenmile/Mosquito Range?) which is accessible as a pull-down menu on the editing page.

Details of your climb should probably go in a route description (you get more points for routes as well).

Thanks for posting this and I look forward to seeing more.

Got the coordinates and the topo is working how about a signature photo? I think its the 9th box down in the edit mode. Mosquito Peak photo_id=133993 is your most popular photo, so why don't you put

133993 in the signature photo box (the ninth one down from the top)

Thanks for the information. I need some help on editing this page. How do you delete the overview and start over?

I agree with your comment on avalanche danger and I will revise this. On the final approach, the last two steep sections, if you stay to the far right on the ridge you will be clear of possible avalanches but there is no way to avoid the 300 foot steep section.
