Nice quick morning hike to Mount Aire on a nice shady trail. This was my 84th time up here since I started keeping track. I've also done Church Fork Peak 6 times and Millvue 5 times.

Ascents  Sucess!

Bushwhacked up Churk Fork Peak from the Mill Creek Canyon and traversed over the mountain on a beautiful June day. In February I snowshoed up Mt. Aire and Millvue Peak on consecutive weeks as part of my recovery from a clavicle fracture.

Perfect day!  Sucess!

We could not have asked for a better day. The gate was closed and from the gate to the TH we encountered several folks (and dogs)but after the TH we only saw a few others all day. The weather was great and the view from the summit was fantastic.

First Winter Summt  Sucess!

Great hike! It is an easy hike, but since I am so out of shape it kicked my trash. Only way to get into better shape though is to just keep going!! I hiked it with cubicleslave and soccerman.

All three and Grandeur, Snowdrift, and Murdock  Sucess!

I don't know what I was thinking doing this in the summer, very pretty, but man between aire and Millvue was some gnarly bushwacking, actually throughout the hike there was alot. No water, hella hot. Still had fun but if you want to do the whole ridge I would recomend winter.

Mount Aire  Sucess!

Did this as a snowshoe, we were on a Millcreek ridge run when the weather turned nasty, so we had to descend quickly, bagged Mt. Aire at the same time.

Great evening hike  Sucess!

Good to climb in the evening after work because it is so short. A little steep in parts but nothing terribly bad.

Elbow Fork Trail  Sucess!

This is a great hike, being from Oregon I haven't hiked much in Utah, this was my first trip to the state. It's a pretty easy hike that takes about an hour up without snow. I found the "shady South side" not really all that shady, something about the South side of a hill will do that I guess. Bring extra water if the weather is hot, you'll want it.

Route climbed: Birch hollow trail up and Elbow fork trail down.  Sucess!

Came from the birch hollow trail and summited the ridge to the east. My brother and I saw the most beautiful sunset ever. The whole ridge was caked in a neon pink color. Took a nasty bushwack over to the ridge below Mt.Aire and then summited. Came back down elbow fork trail and walked back to the car. Also summited on 04/25/05

Awesome snowshoe. I like the area between the summer trailhead and the ridge, preety forest. After the ridge, the final hike up the summit was on very sun crusted snow. I am grateful for really agressive snowshoes, though I still might have wanted to bring my crampons.
